Who I am
My name is Mariana Sandy and I am:
- a founder and an owner of Egoista Nail Academy - one of the strongest Nail schools in Western Canada;
- a well recognized and respected instructor in top Nail Schools in Canada;
- the owner of a top nail brand "Egoista", "WOOW" for professional nail technicians in Canada.

But...
...none of these has happened to me, just because I got sprinkled with a fairy dust one day. I went from a girl who was trying to be like "everyone else" to the woman who believes in herself and rules her own life.

Let's start from the very back of my story.
I was born and raised in a very conservative family. My parents never believed in me, the "best' advice that has been given to me on a regular basis was: "Do not stick out, Mariana. Go with the flow, get married to a good guy. And yeah, get solid education which could help you not to starve."
Trying to be a good girl for my parents, I have accomplished an Engineering degree. II did everything to make them happy but not myself...
In 2010 I moved to Canada where I continued "go with a flow", working as a Mechanical Designer. But there was no real passion for it. I really wanted to become the owner of my life. I knew there is much more I can do other than just being a "Number" in a corporate hierarchy.
I decided to develop my hobby in creating beautiful nails.
- At first, by doing manicure and nail designs for my myself;
- After I felt more confident, by creating great manicures for my friends and family.
- And finally, in 2015 I am proudly, but still scared I did the first step forward to independence opened my own home salon. Yes, I quit my prestigious job and became the owner of my own Business.

In 2010 I moved to Canada where I continued "go with a flow", working as a Mechanical Designer. But there was no real passion for it. I really wanted to become the owner of my life. I knew there is much more I can do other than just being a "Number" in a corporate hierarchy.

- And finally, in 2015 I am proudly, but still scared I did the first step forward to independence opened my own home salon. Yes, I quit my prestigious job and became the owner of my own Business.
Being a perfectionist by nature, I wanted to treat my clients with the excellent quality of Nail Products that I use. I did the most detailed research of the right manufacturer, right bottles, the right quality that was nothing but exceptional.
As a result, in 2017 I launched my own nail brand "Egoista".
Of course, none of the above would be possible without obtaining a proper education. I have taken multiple certifications and coach programs held by the most designated professionals in: Canada, United States of America, Ukraine, Russia, Moldova, Germany
In 2018 I've realized that I can put all the finest I've learned together and shared my experience with others. I wanted to teach Women how to find a work-life balance, how to make money, but be passionate about your profession. That's how I started my own nail school "Egoista Nail Academy".
Am I happy now? YES! I have beautiful family, lovely husband and my dream was come true. Because I create my own direction and follow my soul.
No matter what you do right now: whether you are just about to switch gears of your Career, thinking about a side income, or simply a young mom who'd like to stay with her kids at home. I can teach you how to become a successful Nail Master!
